I was always thinking that we needed to have a Will and Trust in place just in case something happened to us. I did not want to leave our estate in a situation that would hinder our beneficiaries with major tax burdens. The cost was a factor in our delay to have it done. Your fee was more than fair and made our decision to finally have it done a no brainer.

I have been telling our friends and family to contact you and get this done. I tell them that Robyn (Affordable Wills and Trusts) is honest, knowledgeable, fast, fair, and efficient! I ask them, what are you waiting for? Affordable Wills and Trusts makes your decision to have this done an easy one. The finish product is an amazing binder with everything labeled and in order. We also received two copies of it on a CD for safe storage in our safe.

The format of my Will and Trust was simply incredible – beyond my wildest imaginings. It’s a beautiful binder with sections for each component of the Will. Very complete instructions, explanations, and even an index and glossary of terms.
It was a tremendous learning experience for me – Robyn took away all my confusion and concerns. Everything was laid out in a clean and concise format.
Her pricing is very very reasonable – She also provides the needed Notary service. She let me know what the projected time line was for each part of the process, and even delivered the finished documents to my front door!

I was very well counseled through thought-provoking questions. What seemed like a daunting project to me was made super easy and seamless by Robyn. I should not have let “fear” keep me from doing my Living Trust years ago. I love the thoroughness and tidiness of the tight little finished product. I consulted with an attorney who would have charged me at least $2,000 more for the paperwork, and who was unable to explain to me why such fees were necessary for a low-income senior.
Robyn was so lovely to communicate with. She was knowledgeable, intelligent and supportive. Her work was professional and addressed many details I felt were overlooked by the attorney. All my questions and concerns were discussed thoroughly.

She immediately put me at ease, provided a calm work area, gave me thorough information to help guide me and make informed decisions. She helped do some research with regard to names and addresses of charities to which I wanted to leave money. With Robyn’s help I came up with a Trust with which I was very happy, thanks to Robyn Coppedge.

What would you tell them?
If you essentially know what you want and just want someone to guide you through the process to get your wishes drawn up in a legally binding manner, Robyn is your person. If you want your hand held with a lengthier process amidst plush offices that exorbitant fees have obtained, then by all means go to an attorney. Robyn won’t tell you what to do, but if you ask, she will provide input on what she sees most of her clients do in certain situations, as well as her years of experience working with an attorney and seeing his style and advice—what works, and what felt extraneous. She helps explain various choices by laying out scenarios so you can better understand the circumstances and the likelihood of them happening. In all cases, she guides you through the various ways you can exercise choice.
What suggestions would you give as a way to improve my service?
Top notch—right down to her husband coming in to be a signature witness. We appreciated the after-hours capability so we can get here from San Jose.
If I had to pick SOMETHING…Given the length of meetings, it would be nice to have a pitcher of water in the conference room. One paper cup won’t do it and no one wants to leave and miss anything.

That Robyn was professional, caring, instructive. She took our concerns into account and then showed us how to implement what could possibly have been a complex family dynamic into a workable plan for all.
Robyn went out of her way to travel a fair distance to accommodate my mother – she is frail and not able to travel herself.
